Best Buy's 4th of July Sale kicked off this week, making now a great time to shop for video games, electronics, and more. The site-wide sale, which runs until Sunday, July 6, offers major discounts on hundreds of products, both online and in-store. You can pick up PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch games for cheap, upgrade your PC gaming setup, or outfit your home theater with a new TV or soundbar. There are also deals on plenty of other electronics and accessories to explore--and to help you find the best deals in Best Buy's 4th of July Sale, we combed through the listings to put together this round-up of our favorites.
While all the deals and price cuts we've included are available to all shoppers, My Best Buy Plus and Total subscribers can unlock additional discounts and exclusive deals as part of their membership. This includes up to $100 on select TVs and home audio equipment, $25 on select Windows PCs, $20 on Nintendo products, and more. Most of these extra offers are available for longer than the 4th of July Sale, with most ending on July 13; the Nintendo offer ends on August 3.
My Best Buy Plus membership costs $50/year and offers free standard and 2-day shipping on online orders, an extended 60-day return window, early access to select sale prices, and exclusive member deals. The My Best Buy Total membership is $180/year and includes all the aforementioned perks, plus enhanced customer support, 20% off repairs, free protection plans, and more. Joining at either membership level grants you immediate access to the bonus deals.
Best Buy's 4th of July sale is happening a week before Amazon's annual Prime Day sale, which runs from July 8-11 this year, making it the longest Prime Day event yet. We've already seen some early Prime Day deals cropping up, and paired with big deals like Best Buy's, now is a great time to be shopping for deals on games, electronics, collectibles, and more. Be sure to keep tabs on our Prime Day 2025 coverage for all the latest deals.
Select PS5 and Xbox Series X physical games are discounted in Best Buy's sale. Most of the titles are third-party releases available on both systems, such as Dragon Age: The Veilguard, College Football 25, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. However, there are a few PS5 exclusives on sale as well, including Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and Rise of the Ronin.
As for Switch deals--while you won't find any discounts on new Switch 2 games, a long list of digital eshop codes for Switch 1 games are on sale. Several Nintendo first-party games are listed like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD. Some of the discounted digital Switch games even have free Switch 2 upgrade patches that increase the game's performance on the new console, including Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening remake. You can also grab discounted eshop codes for third-party titles like Sonic X Shadow Generations, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, and Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak Deluxe Edition.

Everything from affordable 4K displays to high-end QLEDs are part of Best Buy's 4th of July TV deals. Several models of Best Buy's in-house brand, Insignia, are seeing great price cuts, like this 55-inch LED 4K TV for $190 (was $350). For those after a large 4K Smart TV, Samsung's 75-inch Neo QLED 4K Smart TV is down to $2,000 (was $2,600). Be sure to check Best Buy's listings for even more discounts.
Best Buy's 4th of July Sale is also a great chance to upgrade your audio setup--whether you're looking for a new pair of headphones or are after a new soundbar or speakers for your home theater. There are deals for headphones from multiple brands, including a few models from Sony's excellent line of noise-canceling devices like the WF1000XM5 true wireless earbuds and WHCH720N over-ear headphones. Apple's Airpods Max are also on sale, as are several JVC and Sennheiser models.
For home theater audio, Sony's streamlined HTS400 2.1-channel soundbar is just $180 (was $300), while Samsung, LG, TCL, and other brands have several options for 5.1 surround sound.
The Switch 2 might be the hottest new handheld on the market, but there are several other portable gaming options out there worth checking out. One of the best is the Lenovo Legion Go, and several models are on sale at Best Buy. You can grab the Legion Go with a Ryzen Z2 Go chip, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD for $550 (was $600). This model runs Steam OS, making it very similar to Valve's Steam Deck. If you prefer Windows, you can grab the Legion Go S with a Ryzen Z1 Extreme, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and Windows for $850 (was $900). A SteamOS version is also on sale for $780 (was $830).
Best Buy's sale also has price cuts on several smaller, Android-based gaming handhelds from Anbernic, such as the RG406H with a 4-inch screen and RG556 with a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen. Both feature form factors akin to other modern handhelds like the Legion Go, Steam Deck, or Switch, but are much smaller and designed specifically for playing Android games and classic titles. For something with a more retro flavor, the Anbernic RG406V is also on sale, and looks more like the original Game Boy.
If you're looking to upgrade your gaming setup, Best Buy has deals on select gaming accessories like headsets, controllers, and more. SteelSeries' wireless noise-canceling Arctis Gamebuds are a great pick if you're looking for a pair of true wireless earbuds designed specifically for gaming. The 2nd Gen Turtle Beach Stealth 700 is worth checking out for a more traditional wireless headset option.
Numerous controllers from brands like Hori, Nacon, GameSir, and more are also part of the 4th of July Sale. Some noteworthy deals include the GameSir G8 Plus controller for phones, tablets, and Nintendo Switch; Hori's Splitpad Compact for Switch and Alpha Fightsticks for PS5 and Xbox; and the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro for PlayStation and PC and Scuf Instinct Pro Wireless for Xbox.
Finally, if you're interested in streaming or capturing gameplay footage from your consoles, the Elgato Game Capture Neo is on sale for $110 (was $130).
